Our Commitment
Visioning You Visioning Me is a social enterprise dedicated to offering a service that supports participants to have an experiential experience of immersive creativity.

We are commited to Health and Safety, which is about
a. acting positively
b. minimising risks
c. protecting the health, safety of all
d. acknowledging the rights of volunteers, and service users to be safe.

Visioning You Visioning Me:
a. provide a safe environment for everyone.
b. provides adequate health and safety instruction, supervision and information.
c. consult with venues on matters related to health and safety at our events.

This policy sets out our approach to Health and Safety and it applies to all aspects of our operations including but not limited to volunteers, training and developmental opportunities

The Policy Statement:
Visioning You Visioning Me takes full responsibility for Health and Safety arising from our operations and activities and will do everything in our power to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our facilitators, volunteers, and service users to prevent accidents and minimise risks. By ensuring that our facilitators and volunteers are competent to perform the tasks allocated to them and that they can perform the task safely and if appropriate with supervision. By providing and maintaining safe equipment and instructions on how to use the equipment safely, where appropriate. By liaising with our partner venues to ensure that health and safety is an integral aspect of their day-to-day business.
We will review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals.

This commitment includes advising facilitators and volunteers about their responsibilities under the Health and Safety policy.

Responsibilities include facilitators and volunteers acting in accordance with Visioning You Visioning Me policy to promote health and safety in all aspects of its operations and actively prevent accidents and risks.

Everyone will take responsibility for ensuring that they understand that they are equally responsible and can be held liable for any breech of health and safety, in the course of their engagement with us.

Provision of Services
We will deliver a service in accordance with current Health and Safety legislation.

Risk Assessment
We will use the findings of each risk assessment to support us to identify, prioritise, and minimise risk at all times of our operations and activities.

All significant hazards will be risk assessed.

All near-miss, accidents and serious incidents will be reviewed.

Risk register
We will maintain a risk register that will support the annual review of the health and safety policy.

Accidents & Incidents
We will will record, report and investiagate all accidents, incidents and near-misses.

First Aid
We host our events at different venues and will ensure that as part of the risk assessment of the venue and workshop that the appropriate First Aider is known and the procedure for summoning assistance is clear.

Responsibilities
The Founder of Visioning you Visioning Me has the ultimate responsibility to provide, implement and review the health and safety policy an ensure that its operations actively promote health and safety for all.

Breaches of this policy
We take seriously complaints of health and safety breaches in the course of our activities.

Right to complain:
Should you have a concerns relating to the Health and Safety policy please contact us. Y
